Wfif2EAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee has base4d upon a
police department recommendation determined that it is necessary,
desirable and in the best interest of the City of Canton to remove
the two (2) hour parking zone on a portion of West Walnut Street
between Martin Avenue and Robinson Court; and,
W-iF.RF.AS, the Canton City Council has made a similar
determination.

CITY OF CANT(~V, Fulton County Illinois, as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be
fact.
2. That parking on the north side of West Walnut Street
from a point 206 feet west from the west
right-of-way line of Martin Avenue to a point 626
feet west of the west right-of-way line of Martin
Avenue is hereby allowed.
3. That all ordinances, or, portions of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance are hereby rescinded
and repealed.
4. The two (2) hour parking zone shall remain on West
Walnut Street except as provided in this ordinace.
5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten (10) days after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, approval by the Mayor thereof, and
publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 2nd day of ~~
1993, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: A7-dermen May, Chapman, Meade, Bohlen, Steck, Sarff, Molleck.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Alderman Coay.
