ORDINANCE N0. 1484
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 8, CHAPTER 9, SECTION 9 (B) OF THE
CANTON MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE MANPOWER OF THE SEWER
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Legal & Ordinance Committee has determined that
it is necessary and in the best interest of the City of Canton to
amend Title 8, Chapter g, Section 9(B) of the Canton Municipal
Code relating to the manpower of the Sewer Department; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar
determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the Canton City Council hereby finds the foregoing
recitals to be fact.
2. That Section 8-9-9 (B) of the Canton Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"(B) Sewer Department: Nine (9) full-time employees
holding such licenses as may be required by law."
3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by the Mayor
thereof .
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois, at a regular meeting this Ord day of
October , 1995.
