Section 1. That Section 8 of Chapter XXx1TII of the �evised �rdinances
of the City of Canton, Zllinois, of 1945, as amended, be, an3 the same i� hereby
further amended to read as follows:
"Section 8. WAT��'R AND SFW�. D!�'PARTr E',I�T: The Chief Operator at the
Water Treatment Plant shall receive an annual salary of Five Thousand Four Hun-
dred Forty Dollars (�544�•�Q) •
The Chief Operator at the Sewa�e Treatment Flant shall receive an
annual salary of Five Thousar..d Two Hur.dred Dollars (�5200.00).
The Operators at the water treatment nlant and at the sewa.�e treatment
plant shall each receive an annual salar�� of Four Thousand Cr_e Hundred Sixty
Dollars (�41h0.00).
The cashier of the Water and Sewer Departmen.t shall .receive an annual
salary of Three Thousar.d Two Hundred Dollars (w3Z00.00) .
E�ach Meter Reader shall recsive �.n annual salary of Four Thousand One
Hundred Sixty Dollars (�41�.d0)."
Section 2. Any prior Ordinance in conf_lict with the grovisiona of this
C)rdinance, be, and is herel?y repealed.
Section 3• This Ordinance ahall be in effect after its passage by the
City Cauncil and approval by the Nayor.

of the City ofCanton, Illinnis, of 1945, as amended, be, and the same is her�b,y
further amended ta read as follows:
"Section 10. FAT�K C??STODIA^t. The Park �ustodian srall receive an an-
nual salary of One Thousand r�ine Hundred Twenty Dollar5 (��1920.�)."
Sec�ti on 2. Any prior Crdirance in conflict with the provisions of this
Ordinance, be, and is hereby repealed..
Section 3. This Ordinan.ce shall be in effect after its passa�e by the
City Council anc app-roval by the ?�tayor.
