W�`.F'AS, it appears and is determined by the City Council of the City
of Canton, I1linois, that the public interest will be subserved by the
vacation of an alley lyin� to the east of Lot Number 21 of C�race T?. Pen-
singer Addition and an alley lying r_orth of Lots 19, 20, and 21 of Grace P�2.
Pensinger Addition to the City of Canton; and
WHT'�'.T'AS, the relief to the public from the furth�r burden and res-
ponsibilit;; of maintaining said. alle,ys constitutes a public use or public
interest authorizing such vacation;

Section 1. That the alley lyin� to the east of Lot rlumber 21 of Grace M.
Penain_ger Addition and an alle,,r lyin� north of Lots 1Q, 20, anc� 21 of Grace r�.
Pensinger Addition to the City of Canton, Illinois, be and the same is hereb�r
vacated.
Section 2. That u�aon the passa�e of this Ordinance as required by law ard
approval by the P�ayor, this Ordinance srall become effective and the title
to said alleys sh.all vest ir_ the abutting owners of land as provided for by
the �tatutes of the State of Tllinois.
Section 3. That the City Clerls shall file with the Recorder of veeds
of Fulton �ounty, T,llinois, a certifiecl copy of this Ordina.nce.
