ORDINANCE N0. 25
BE IT ORDAINFD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TFTF CITY OF CAi�T0�1, ILLINOIS:
Section l. That Chapter XL11� tirticle l, Section 56, of the
Hevised Ordinances of the City of Canton� Illinois, 1959, be, and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows;
►tSection 56. ONE WAY `1'RAFFIC. The several streets designated
as one way street, upon which traffic of vehicles shall move in
one direction only, are as follows;
l. Chestnut Street, east side of Square to 5th Avenue,
West to East;
2. Chestnut Street from east side of Square to Avenue A,
East to West;
3. Elm Street from 5th Avenue to the east side of the Square,
East to West;
�. Elm Street from Avenue A to the east side of the Square,
West to east;
5. East side of 4�uare, South to North;
6. North Main 5treet from Chestnut Street to Elm Street,
North to South;
7. Whit_> Court from E].m Street to Pine Street, North to
S outh.'�
Section 2. A�y person convicted of any vialation of this
Ordinance shall be fined not less tha.n Three (�3.00) Dollars, and no more
�` than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars. '�

s Se ction 3. This Ord-i.nance sha11 be in effect ten days after its
passage of the City Council, approval of the Mayor and publication according
to law.
