BE IT �RDAINED BY THE CITY C�UNCIL �F THE CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That Chapter %LV, Section 18-A, paragraph 6 of the
�evised Ordinances of the Cit9 of Canton, Illinois, 1959, �d a-
mendments thereto, is hereby amended to read as follows:
To partially defrgy the expenses for inspecting the plans or
property the Zoning Enforcing Officer shall charge for each permi�
issued a sum based upon the estimated cost of the building or Struct-
ure to be eoastructed, altered, added to or relocated, which fees
shall be as follows:
TYPE I. Esti�nat3d Cost und�r $100.00, no fee.
TYPE II. Estimated Cost $100.00 to �499.00, Inclusive, � 5,00
TYPE III. Estimated Cost �500.00 to �999•00, Inclusive, '7.50
TYPE IY. Estimated Cost �1,000.00 to $4,999•00 In-
clusive 10.00
T3EF� V. Estimated� Cost �5,000,00 to �19,999•00, In-
clusive, 15.00
TYPE YI. E�timat$d Cost, $20�000.00 to �29,99�.00,
Inciusive ; 20.00
TYP:E YII E�timated Cost �30,000.00 to $49,000.00,

TYPE vIII. Estimated t�ost, �50,000.0o to $99,999•00,

Section 2. That all of said funds shall be deposited .in the
Treasurer's Office of the City of Canton and the Zoning �t�o�caing
Officar shall receive $3.00 for Type II permit issued; �g.00 for
Type III permit issued; �?.00 for Type IV permit issued; $10.00
for Type V permit issued; �13.00 for Typ e VI permit issued; �16.00
for Type V=I permit issued; $35.00 for Type YIII ermit issued;
�5�•�0 for Type IX permit issued; and Two-thirds �(2/3) of e ach fee
for Type S permit issued.
That the balance of fees collected for va�rious permits i+s-
sued shall be placed in theCity Treasury for the benefit and use
of the Planning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois.
On Friday of each week, the Zpning Enforcing Officer shall
receive his compensation based upo� the permits issued the pra�-
ceding week.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and a,�ter ,
its passage b9 the Cit9 Council and approval b9 the Ma�or.
