ORDINANCE N4. 93 • ' ' ••
BE IT �RDAINED BY TFiE CITY COUNCIL OF TH�; CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS:
- Se�ction 1. That paragraph "2" of Section 1 of Ordinance
Number 91, passed by the City Council of Canton, Illinois, and
approved by the Ma�or on the 5th. day of November, 1963, and dul
published �ccording to law, is hereby amended to read as fol-
lows:

" �2) ' That all of the parking meters installed aroun.d
said par�s �hall be placed on the sidewalk� near the curbs of sai
sidew�lks and stalls marked at said meters so as to provide righ
angle parkin� to the curbs, which stalls shall be Eight and One-
half (Sy4) feet in width, except that the parking stalls proeided
and marked on the North and South sides of the parking islands
at the North and South ends of Jones ' Park, running East and
West, shall provide stalls Nine C9) feet in width; and all ve-
hicles parked around said park shall be parked within said stall ,
as hereinafter provided, with front ends of said vehicles toward
curbs.
Section 2. That nothing in this amendment shall be con-
sidered as re �aling any part of said Ordinance Number 91 except
para�raph "(2�" of said Section 1.
Section 3. That all other parts and portions of said
Ordinance Number 91 shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication ac-
cording to law.
PASSED by the Cit9 Council of the City of Canton, Ill-
inois, and approved by the Mayor, this 19th. da9 of November,
1963.
