An Ordinance amending Section 2 of the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Canton, Illinois, and being Section ?_ of Chapter
XLV of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois,
of 1959•
BE IT ORDAINED BY TH�' CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
II,I,INOIS:
Section 1. Section 2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Cit9
of Canton, Illinois, being Section 2 of �hapter YLV of the Re-
vised Ordinances of the City of Canton Illinois, 1959, is here-
by amended in the following respects: '�hat
Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Town-
ship 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth Principal,�: � �
situated in the City of Canton, in the County of �
Fulton, in the State of Illinois, described as fol-
lows :
From a stone at the center of said Section 22
running thence East 518.0 feet, to the center line
of Route 78; thence South along said centerline
1182.27 feet for a place of beginning; from the
place of beginnin� running thence East 431.5 feet,
thence North 1 de�ree 14 minutes East 195.8 feet,
thence West to the center line of said Route 78,
thence South to the place of beginning, except that
part conveyed to the State of Illinois for the pur-
pose of a public hi ghway; be changed from R-1 Class-
ification, being a One Family Residential District,
to a R-4 Classification, that is, to a Multiple
Family Residential District.
That in all other respects said Section 2 of the said Zon
ing Ordinance, as heretofore amended, of the City of Canton, I}.1
inois, shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and ef-
fect from and after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and pub-
lication according to law.
PASSED by the City Council ctf �he City of Canton, Illinoi ,
and approved by the 1"jayor, this ,!r�= day of December, 1964.
