BE IT ORDAII�TEED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTQN,

Section 1. A �top sign shall be placed on the North �ide of
West Elm Street, Canton, Illinois, where the same intersects with
Avenue D, and every driver of a motor vehicle approaching said
stop sign while driving West on said Elm Street shall �top before
entering onto said Avenue D, and then shall proceed whea a safe
int�rval occurs.
And a �top sign shall be placed on the South �ide of West
Elm Street, Canton, Illinois, where the same inter�ects with Avenue
D, and every driver of a motor vehicle apprQaching said �top sign
while dri�ring East on said West Elm Street shall �top beiore enter-
in�; onto said Avenue D, and shall then proceed whan a safe inter-
val occurs.
Section 2. A stop sign sha11 be placed on the North side of
West Pine Street, Canton, Illinois, where the same interaects with
Avenue D, and every driver of a motor vehicle approaching said
�top si�n while driving West on said West Pine Street shall �top
before entering onto said Avenue D, and then proceed when a 'safe
interval occurs.
And a stop sign shall be placed on the South side of West
Pine Stre+et, Canton, Illinois, where the same intersects with Avenue
D, and. every �river of a motor vehicle approaching said stop sign
while drivi�g '�a8t on said West Pine Street shall �top before en-
tering onto said Avenue D, and then shall proceed %ahen a safe in-
ter�ral occurs.
Section 3. A atop sign shall be placed on the North �ide of
Mulberry Place , Cant�n, Illinois, where the same intersects with
Avenue D, and every drie�r of a motor nehicle approaching said
�top sign while driving �asterly on said Mulberry Place shall �top
before entering onto said Avenue D, and then proceed when a!':saPe
inte�val occurs.
Section 4. The proper officials of the Cit�r of Canton, I11-
inois, sha13 post �igns at said intersections informing perso�ts of
the provisions of this Ordinance.
Sectir�n 5. That any person who shall be convicted of any' o��.�-
the� patcivisions of "�his Ordinanae, shall be punished b� a fine of
not less than �'hree dollars and not more than �'wo Hundred Dollars.
5ection 6. This Ordinance sha�l be in effect ten days after
its passage by the City Council, approval by the Mayor, and publi-
cation according to law.
PASSED by the City �ouncil o City of Canton, Illinois,
and approved by the Mayor this day of March, 1965.
