ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON CERTAIN
PORTIONS OF ANDERSON PLACE IN THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That mo motor vehicle shall be parked (as
defined by the Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois) at any
time for an c ntin ous period in excess of 2 hours duration on
either the or—Y L` F —side of Anderson Place in the City of
Canton, Illinois between the South curb lines of South Fifth
Avenue and the North curb lines of South Seventh Avenue.
SECTION 2. That the proper officials of the City shall
post signs informing persons of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. That any person who shall be convicted of a
violation of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be
punished by a fine of not less than $5.00 nor more than $200.00.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten
days after its passage by the Council, approval by the Mayor and
publication according to law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this
