of Third Avenue, in the City of Canton, Illinois. )
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH�. CZTY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section l. That a stop sign shall be posted at each of the northeast and
southwest corncrs of the intersection of Lewis Street and Sixth Avenue in the
City of Canton, Illinois, and whenever the driver of a vehicle proceeding in
either direction on Lewis Street shall ap�:roach Sixth Avenue he shall bring his
vehicle to a complete stop and then proceed with c�ution when a safe interval
occurs.
Section 2. That no vehicle shall be parked (as defined by the Ordinances
of the City of Canton, Illinois) on either side of Fifteenth Avenue in the City
of Canton, Tllinois between the north cur•b line of Ash Street and the south curb
line of Myrtle Street.
Section 3. That no vehicle shall be parked (as defined by the Ordinances
of the City of Canton, Illinois) on either side of Third Avenue in the City of
Canton, Illinois between the north curb line of Locust Street and the South curb
line of Howard Place between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. on any day.
Section 4. That the proper authorities of this City place appropriate signs
informing persons of the foregoing provisions.
Section 5. That any person found �uilty of a violati.on of this Ordinance
shall be subject to a fine of not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) nor more than
Two Hundred Dollare (�200.00) .
Section 6. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days
after its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, approval
by the Mayor thereof, and publication according to law.
