AN ORDINANCE
Annexing the property of Village Square, a
limited partnership, to theCity of Canton, Ill.
EREAS it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois�
WH ,
that the territory described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and expressly�_incor-
porated herein by reference, is not within the corporate limits of any munici- I
pality but is contiguous to the City of Canton, IlYinois, and
It further appears to the said City Council of the Cit� of Canton th�this
property should be annexed in the zoning configuration as shown by Exhibit B,
which is attached hereto and expressly incorporated by reference herein and,
WHEREAS, it further appears to the said City Council of the City of
Canton that said premises hereinabove mentioned is owned by Village Square,
a limited partnership, and that no electors reside therein, and
WHEREAS, it appears that the petitioner has cause to be served on the
trustees of the Carl�n Community Fire Prote ction District, Norris, Illinois,
61553, a wriii�n notice of this annexation as required by the statutes of the
State Of Illinois;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH
� CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory described in Exhibit A, attached he�eto
and expressly:'incorporated into this ordinance by reference as though
the same had been fully set out in this section be and the same is here-
by annexed to the City of Canton, County of Fulton, State of Illinois.
Section 2. That the hereinabove mentioned property be and the same i
hereby annexed in the zoning configuration indicated by Exhibit B, whic
is attached to this ordinance and expressly incorporated herein as thou t
the same had been set out in full in this section.
Section 3. That a certified copy of this ordinance, together with an
accurate map of the hereinabove described places, shall be recorded
with the Recorder of Deeds of the County of Fulton, State of Illinois.

Section 4. That this oridance shall be in full force and effect from
and after a majority vote of the City Council fo the City of Canton,
Illinois, and approval by the mayor of said city.
PASSED by a majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton,
