PROPOSED SECOND AMENDMENT TO
BUSINESS DISTRICT - 1
The City of Canton, Fulton Countp, Illinois, an Illinois Municipal Corpoxation, hereby gives
Notice of a Public Hearing to be held at M� � � �'�'m,�r�a, I+�!1 �r��i � ��M� , at the
Canton Historic Train Depot,50 N 4`�Avenue,Canton Illinois,to consider its proposed
appxoval of the Second Amendment to Canton Susiness District- 1 Redevelopment Plan and
the designation of the proposed Business District Redevelopment AYea as Amended.
Any interested person may file a written objection with the City Clerk and may be heaxd oYally
at the Public Hearing with respect to any matteYs embodied in this Notice. Those attending
electronically or by phone will be Yequired to provide theix name and address and the heaxing
will be recoYded. The City shall hear and determine all alternate pYoposals or bids for any
proposed conveyance,lease,mortgage ox other disposition by the City of land or rights in land
owned by the City and located within the proposed Business District Redevelopment AYea,
including all protests and objections at the Public Hearing.Prior to the Public Hearing,written
comtnents, alteYnate proposals or bids may be submitted by 3:00 PM the day of the Heaxing

The proposed Redevelopment Plan and Area comply with the pxovisions of the `Business
District Development and Redevelopment Act" (65 ILCS 5/11-743 et. .req.). FoY further
