ORDINANCE NO. 1715
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE/HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT
FOR THE OPERATION OF Nail Salon AT 306 W. Olive STREET, CANTON,
ILLINOIS TO Huong Hoai Hoang.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits of the
City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition was filed by Huong Hoang to the Planning and Zoning
Commission of said City requesting a special use permit; and,
WHEREAS, notice of a petition for a special use permit in a zoning was
published within said City and County, all in accordance with the Statutes of Illinois and
the Ordinances of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeazed at said hearings and said commission did
thereupon make favorable findings of fact and did recommend to the Canton City
Council that said special use/home occupation for Nail Salon at 306 W. Olive Street,
Canton, Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, hereby
finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a special use permit for the home occupation of Nail Salon be issued to
Huong Hoang, 306 W. Olive Street, Canton, Illinois, affecting real property
being legally described as follows:
Lot 1 in Stockdale Subdivision of block 7, Smith and Johnson Addition to the
City of Canton, County of Fulton, and State of Illinois. Permanent index
number 09-08-27-127-005.
3. That the record of the City of Canton, appropriate documents, maps and
related regulations and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the foregoing
special use permit granted herein.

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, at a
regular meeting this 4th day of December , 2001 upon a roll call vote as
follows:
AYES: Aldeztnen Fillinghatn, Shores, Meade, [Nest, Sarff,
Hartford, Molleck.
NAYES: None .
ABSENT: Alderman Nidiffer
