City Council.

ORDINANCE NO. 4464
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONING CHANGE FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 125 E. LOCUST STREET, CANTON, ILLINOIS 61520 FROM A
B-2 TO R-4 ZONING CLASSIFICATION .
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, that the territory herein described is located within the corporate limits of
the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition was filed by, Pradeep Kataria, owner of the property to the
Joint Planning and Zoning Commission of said City requesting the re-zoning; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said commission did
thereupon make favorable Findings of Fact and did recommend to the Canton City
Council that the RE-ZONING be allowed for 125 East Locust Street, Canton,
IL.61520
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois hereby
finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a ZONING CHANGE FROM B-2 TO R-4 be allowed for HOUSING
UNITS AT 125 EAST LOCUST STREET in Canton, Illinois, affecting real
property being legally described as follows:
SECT/LOT: 112 Swans S. 2nd ADD W 74.5 E 95, City of Canton, situated in
Fulton County, Illinois, State of Illinois.
Common Address: 125 East Locust Street, Canton, IL. 61520
Property ID: 09-08-27-424-014
3. That the City Council of the City of Canton, County of Fulton, Illinois, hereby
finds the facts of the aforegoing recitals to be fact.
4. That an R-4 zoning change be granted to Pradeep Kataria of 125 E. Locust
Street, Canton, Illinois 61520 as described herein shall be, and the same is hereby
issued to Pradeep Kataria, owner of property.
5. That the record of the City of Canton, appropriated documents, maps and
related regulations be and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the foregoing
special use permit granted herein.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton,Fulton County,Illinois, at a regular meeting
this 151'day of April 2025 upon a roll call vote as follows:
