ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO THE AGENDA:

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:
Leyla Gulen spoke on behalf of FEMA. She explained that her and her team have been in Illinois
to help with the counties affected by the storms that occurred back in July. She stated there was
a deadline that was supposed to be today to apply for assistance, which has now been pushed
th
back to December 13 instead. The deadline was pushed back because FEMA continues to see
more survivors. So far to date, Fulton County has received 313 registrations. Leyla suggested
spreading the word to the public so assistance can be given. It also does not matter whether you
are a homeowner or a renter to apply for assistance.
MAYORAL COMMUNICATIONS/REQUESTED ACTION:

Mayor McDowell announced that on December 17 there will be an ugly Christmas sweater
contest for the council members. All money can be turned into Police Chief Mike Eveland, and
the winner can donate the money to a charity of their choosing if they wish.
