Alderman Meade had Greg Pollitt talk about the smell and bad taste of the City's water.
Greg said the water is safe to use and drink. Because of colder air and the lake level
being down is causing the smell and bad taste. We have increased the carbon dosage, and
this all takes time to get through the system. We have knowledgeable operators on top of
things, and we have noticed improvements in the smell and taste at the plant.
