COMMITTEE REPORTS:
FINANCE
ALDERPERSON ANDRA CHAMBERLIN, CHAIR
DISCUSS, CONSIDER AND VOTE ON REPAIR COST PAYMENT TO MACQUEEN EMERGENCY
EQUIPMENT FOR TOWER 1 STABILIZER REPAIR IN THE AMOUNT OF $1379.36 TO BE PAID OUT
OF THE CANNABIS FUND.
Fire Chief Roos explained that while taking care of a rear brake chamber on the tower. They
used a stabilizer to get it up in the air to address this issue and in doing so it blew one of the
hydraulic lines that controls all of the hydraulics to that truck. As a result, the truck was going
nowhere in the air until that repair was made.
Motion and second were made by Alderpersons Chamberlin/Lingenfelter to approve payment to
Macqueen Emergency Equipment for Tower 1 Stabilizer repair in the amount of $1379.36 to be
paid out of the Cannabis Fund.

DISCUSS, CONSIDER AND VOTE ON REPAIR COST PAYMENT TO MACQUEEN EMERGENCY
EQUIPMENT FOR TOWER 1 NEW WIRING HARNESS/LOAD MINDER DELETE IN THE AMOUNT
OF $4146.77 TO BE PAID OUT OF THE CANNABIS FUND.
Chief Roos explained that the truck is a 1997 and because of its age repairs are costly. The
wiring harness gives them control while they are in the bucket and the load minder lets you
know if you are over the weight limit in the bucket which is a 1000 lbs.
Motion and second were made by Alderpersons Chamberlin/Hale to approve the repair cost
payment to Macqueen Emergency Equipment for Tower 1 New Wiring Harness/Load Minder
Delete in the amount of $4146.77 to be paid out of the Cannabis Fund.

DISCUSS, CONSIDER AND VOTE ON AN ARCHITECTURAL CONCEPTION FOR THE OPERA HOUSE
LOT NOT TO EXCEED $10,000.00 TO COME OUT OF THE BDD FUND.
Cole McDaniel explained that he had talked to Keith Plavec earlier. The first step of this project
would be the approval of the amount to be spent and from that point work on the planning
piece of it.
Motion and second were made by Alderpersons Chamberlin/Lovell to approve an architectural
conception for the Opera House lot not to exceed $10,000.00 to come out of the BDD Fund.

ALDERPERSON RALPH GRIMM, CHAIR
DISCUSS, CONSIDER AND VOTE ON AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUUPATION
PERMIT TO ERIC L. PARSANO AT 776 NORTH AVENUE A. CANTON, ILLINOIS 61520.
Attorney Jump explained that this individual already had a permit but Mr. Parsano had to re-
apply because he moved to a new location.
Motion and second were made by Alderpersons Grimm/Lovell to approve an ordinance granting
a home occupation permit to Eric L. Parsano at 776 North Avenue A, Canton, Illinois 61520.

UPCOMING OPENING.
Mayor McDowell explained that we had another telecommunicator resign. They are going to
nursing school. The resignation was planned for a later date but was moved up for school
purposes.

telecommunicator to fill an upcoming opening.
