COMMITTEE MEETING OF THE CITY OF CANTON, CALLED BY THE MAYOR,
KENT McDOWELL, FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:
(A) Recommending to the City Council the approval of a Settlement Agreement and
Mutual Release with Navistar Inc.
(B) Recommending to the City Council an agreement to amend a Redevelopment
Agreement for the Former International Harvester Site Between the City of Canton,
Illinois and Cook Canton Incorporated, dated June 5, 2009, and to establish the City of
Canton’s remediation reimbursement obligations to Cook Canton Incorporated, Cook
Canton Real Estate, LLC, and/or other Cook entities for the former International
Harvester Site.

A. Discuss, consider, and vote on recommending to City Council a Resolution
approving a Settlement Agreement and Mutual Release with Navistar, Inc.
B. Discuss, consider, and vote on recommending to City Council an ordinance or
resolution approving an agreement to amend a Redevelopment Agreement for the
Former International Harvester Site Between the City of Canton, Illinois and Cook
Canton Incorporated, dated June 5, 2009, and to establish the City of Canton’s
remediation reimbursement obligations to Cook Canton Incorporated, Cook Canton
Real Estate, LLC, and/or other Cook entities for the former International Harvester
Site.
