A RESOLUTION APPPROVING A QUOTE FROM TIMBUKTECH AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER SAID AGREEMENT
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has determined that it is necessary and in the
best interests of the City of Canton to enter into a Service Agreement for IT services
related to the maintenance of the City's computer network, as further described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and incorporated therein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton has made a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Canton City Council accepts the proposal fir IT Professional Services,
including remote access for designated department heads and officials and the
100% no hassle guarantee on a month-to-month basis at a cost of $1,510.00 per
month.
2. That the Mayor of the City of Canton, Illinois is hereby authorized and directed to
execute any necessary paperwork on behalf of the City of Canton.
3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage
by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval by the Mayor
thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, at a regular meeting this

About a year ago, I had a motherboard go down on my server. It corrupted my wedding and portrait drives. With over 300
family portrait sessions, 70 high school seniors, 27 weddings and 3 commercial clients on them. Granted these were
backups, but the time to rebuild was staggering and there were some sessions that hadn't been yet backed up. I called the
