DISCUSS, CONSIDER AND VOTE ON A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ENGAGEMENT LETTER
FROM LAUTERBACH AND AMEN FOR POLICE AND FIRE PENSION PROJECTIONS RESOLUTION
#5347
Lauterbach and Amen would give the city projections for the police and fire pension funds from
2021-2040. The City would then be able to determine the amount of bonds needed for unfunded
pension liability. The information provided by Lauterbach and Amen would also help the city
with budgeting. The proposed cost for the projections is $200.00/hour with a max of $2400.00
for each pension plan.
The fire department is the lowest funded pension plan, which is only 38%funded.
