1. Discuss, consider and vote on a resolution approving and authorizing the
expenditure of TIF funds for job training through Spoon River College
2. Discuss, consider and vote on a resolution approving the renewal of liability
insurance with Illinois Counties Risk Management Trust (ICRMT) for the period of
December 1, 2017-December 1, 2018.
3. Discuss, consider and vote on payment to Laverdiere Construction in the amount
of $43,303.75
4. Discuss, consider and vote on payment to Advanced Asphalt in the amount of
$183,631.20 from the MFT.
5. Discuss, consider and vote on the payment in the amount of $12,000.00 payable
to the Village of Northbrook for the purchase of a fire engine from the fire
depreciation account.
6. Discuss and consider the tax levy for 2017/2018
LEGAL & ORDINANCE

1. Discuss, consider and vote on a resolution approving a lease agreement between
Hitchcock Scrapyard Inc, an Illinois corporation and the City of Canton and
directing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute and deliver said lease agreement
on behalf of the City of Canton, Illinois.
2. Discuss, consider and vote on a resolution approving an engagement letter
between the City of Canton and Lauterbach & Amen LLP to prepare the tax levy
actuarial report for the City of Canton for fiscal year ending April 30, 2017
through April 30, 2019.
