ORDINANCE 1849
AN ORDINANCE ABATING ALL OF THE BOND LEVY FOR THE 2005-2006
FISCAL YEAR ($1,150,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT ALTERNATE REVENUE
BONDS SERIES 2002).
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has by Ordinance No. 1720 previously
authorized the issue of $1,150,000 Principal Amount Alternate Revenue Bonds, Series
2002; and,
WHEREAS, it now appears that the City has, or, will have on hand, sewer and
water funds sufficient to abate all of such bond levy for the City's 2005-2006 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That $168,982.50 of the levy for the City of Canton $1,150,000
alternate Revenue Bonds, Series 2002, for the City of Canton 2005-
2006 fiscal year be, and the same hereby is, abated.
2. That all other levies are hereby reaffirmed and ratified.
3. That the City Clerk as and for said Clerk's authority to abate
$168,982.50 of said levy.
4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a regular
meeting this 1 h day of liecenber , 2005.

Keed, Schenck.
