A RESOLUTION FOR SUPPORT BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON
FOR THE CDAP APPLICATION FOR VIC MASON.
WHEREAS, the City of Canton is applying to the State of Illinois
for a Community Development Assistance Program grant; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that an application be made and agree-
ments entered into with'~the State of Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the City of Canton apply for a grant under the terms
and conditions of the State of Illinois and shall enter into and
agree to the understandings and assurances contained in said appli-
cation.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk on behalf of the City of Canton
execute such documents and all other documents necessary for the
carrying out of said application.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to provide such
additional information as may be required to accomplish the obtaining
of such grant.
4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immedia-
tely upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton,
Fulton';COunty, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois at a regular meeting this 2Q.th. day of August ,
1985 upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachevich, Zilly, Falcone, Sar£f, Workman,
May, Chapman,
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Alderman Bohler.
