Ordinance rezoning property of Blackstone Group, contract purchaser, at the address of
Southeast corner of Main and E. Yrne Street in the dty of Canton, it. 61320, Fulton County. from
R-2 to 6-2.
Whereas, a petition was tiled with the City Clerk for the rezoning of the real property described
below, and said property is within the corporate limits Of the City of Canton, Illinois.
Whereas, the carrerrt Zoning of the subject premises is R-2 and R is the intention of the owners
that It be changed to a Zoning of B-Z.
Whereas, a public hearing on said petition was conducted by the Planning and Zoning
Comrrassion of Me Cfiy of Canton an Feb. 21,2005, pursuant to proper notice having been
published in the Canton Daily Ledger.
Whereas, on Feb. 21.2005, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended to the City
Courrdl that the real property described 1n the attached exhibit hereto be rezoned in the City of
Canton pursuant to Division 13, Article 11, Ad 5. Chapter 85, INMois Compiled Statutes, 11192 (85
ILCS 5111-13-1 et seq);
Whereas, it is the hest interest of the City of Canton. IlNnois that saki real property be rezoned in
the City Of Canton.

to file with the County Clerk of Fulton County a oertHied Dopy of this ordinance.
5. That this Ordinance shall tie in full force and effect upon its passage by the Coy Counal of
the City of Canton and approval by its Mayor.

R-2 to B-2.
Whereas, a petition was filed with the City Clerk for the rezoning of the real property
described below, and said property is within the corporate limits of the City of Canton, Illinois.
Whereas, the current zoning of the subject premises is R-2 and it is the intention of the
owners that it be changed to a zoning of B-2.

Whereas, the current zoning of the sut>jed premises is R-Z and it is the intention of the owners
that it be changed to a zoning of B-2.

Commission of the City of Canton on Fsb. 21, 2005, pursuant to proper notice having been
