ORDINANCE N0. 969
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE ~~964 (BEING, "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
MANNER OF SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON
COUNTY, ILLINOIS")
WiiEREAS, Ordinance ~~964 has heretofore been passed by the City Council
of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approved by the Mayor; and,
WHEREAS, numerical paragraph 7 of said Ordinance sets forth an incorrect
date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County., Illinois as follows:
1. That numerical paragraph 7 of Ordinance ~~964 is hereby amended to read
as follows: "7. Bids shall be submitted to the City Clerk, City Building,
210 E. Chestnut Street, Canton, Illinois 61520, on or before April 5,
1983, at 5:00 o'clock P.M. local time. Late bids will not be considered.
AlI bids submitted shall be opened before the Canton City Council at its
regular meeting of April 5, 1983."
2. That, in all other respects, Ordinance ~~964 is hereby expressly ratified,
confirmed and approved.
3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
at a regular meeting this 15th day of
vote as follows:

AYES: Aldermen Hammond, Savill, Sarff, Grant, Carl, Larsen, Horr.
NAYS: None.
