ORDINANCE NO. 105h
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF AN
ACCOUNTING OFI'ICE AT ADDRESS OF 224 S. 1st STREET
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Fulton County, Illinois that the territory hereinafter described is
located within the corporate limits of said City, such territory
being generally located at common address of 224 S. lst Street; and,
WHEREAS, a petition fora special use permit was duly filed by
the petitioners and due and proper notice thereof was published in
the Canton Daily Ledger, a secular daily newspaper published within
said City and County, ail in accordance with the Statutes of the
State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning such petition was held before
the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois
on March 11, 1985 pursuant to notice; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said Commission
did thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council that said special
use permit for the operation of an accounting office by Leonard and
Linda Forestier at address of 224 S. 1st Street be allowed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TffE CITY
OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as fol-lows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County.
Illinois hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a special use permit for the operation of an accounting.
office issue to, and the same hereby is issued to, Leonard and Linda
Forestier at address of 224 S. 1st Street, Canton, Illinois affecting
real property being legally described as follows, to-wit:
Lot Number 23 and 26 in Wrights Addition to
the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
3. That this special use permit is personal to Leonard and
Linda Forestier at the above stated address only. That any cessation
of such use by Leonard and Linda Forestier or their moving or removal
from said address shall automatically terminate said special use permit.
That, further, such special use permit is not transferrable or valid at

4. TYtat the records of the City of Canton, appropriate documents,
maps and related regulations be, and the same hereby are, amendc:~d to
reflect the foregoing special use permit.
5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect inunediatc:~ly

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, I'ulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 3rd day of APn-1
1985 upon a roll call vote as follows:
