AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING CERTAIN CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY TO THE PUBLIC'S USE
FOR ROADWAY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of Canton is the owner of all that real property identified
in one certain dedication plat hereto attached as Exhibit A and herein incorporated
by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton has determined that it is in
the best interest of the City of Canton that certain real property as set forth in
Exhibit A be dedicated of record for the public's use as a roadway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County, Illinois as followsA
1. That the real property set forth in Exhibit A hereto attached and herein
incorporated by reference is hereby dedicated to the public's use solely for
roadway purposes.
2. That passage and approval of this Ordinance shall be deemed to constitute
delivery by the grantor and acceptance by the grantee.
3. That that portion of the dedicated real property as set forth in Exhibit
A lying between the East curb line of North White Court, as extended, and the West
curb line of North First Avenue is hereby denominated as and shall be known as
the 100 block of East Chestnut Street.
4. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Ordinance with
attachments to be filed of record in the Office of the Fulton County Recorder of
Deeds immediately upon the passage of this Ordinance and its approval by the Mayor.
5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois,
and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at
a regular meeting this 15~ day of JariUary , 19 ~~, upon
a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldern~.z I-1~rr, May, Carl, Worlanan, Sarff, Savi:ll, Hammond, Kovachevich.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.

Ordinance No. 1045
CommPazcing on the west right of way line of North First Avenue
and 26' south of the southeast corner of Fulton Square; thence
westerly along a:.:line 26' south and parallel to the south line
of Fulton Square to an offset line in the south line of Fulton
Square; thence southerly and westerly along the offset line in
the south line of Fulton Square to the west right of way line of
White Court extended northerly; thence southerly along said West
right of way line of White Court to the existing northwest corner
of White Court; thence easterly along the north right of way line
of White Court to the east right of way line of White Cotizrt;
thence Northerly along the east right of way line of White Court
extended to the intersection of a line 26' north of and parallel
to the north property line of the Beckner property; thence
easterly along a line 26' north of and parallel to the said north
line of the Beckner property to a point on the west right of way
line of North First Avenue, thence northerly along the west
right of way line of North First Avenue to the point of beginning.
