A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING 1986 MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS IN
PAYMENT OF SIGNALIZATION WORK AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE BURLINGTON
NORTHERN RAILROAD LINE AND EAST HICKORY STREET.
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has determined that it is
necessary and in the best interest of the City of Canton to use
1986 Motor Fuel Tax Funds to pay, in part, for the signalization of
the intersection of the Burlington Northern Railroad line and East
Hickory Street in the City of Canton.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That 1986 Motor Fuel Tax Funds in the amount of $4,750.74
be, and the same hereby are, appropriated to the payment of
signalization work at the intersection of the Burlington Northern
Railway line at its intersection with East Hickory Street in the
City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois this 16th day of December 1986
upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachiavich, Zilly, Steck, Sarff, Workman,
Bohler, May, Chapman.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
