A RE90LUT I ON 1 N SUPPORT OF A OQVPREFENS I VE, OOINTY-WIDE AIVBUI
SERVICE.
W-ERE.AS, the Fulton County Board on July 10, 1990, adopted
and passed a resolution placing the question of an ambulance
service as a ballot proposition to be voted on at the general
election to be held November 6, 1990; and,
W-f1E~iEAS, the Lega I and Ordinance Corrmi ttee has determined
that it is necessary and in the best interest of the City of
Canton that such an ambulance service be implemented in
furtherance of the public health, welfare and safety; and,
W-ERFAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar
determination.

CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the Canton City Council hereby finds the foregoing
recitals to be fact.
2. That the Canton City Council supports a comprehensive,
county-wide, ambulance service in support of the public health,
welfare and safety.
3. That the Canton City Council encourages the public to
pass a referendum on November 6, 1990 implementing such an
ambulance service.
4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
im-nediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this ~L day of
July= 1990, upon roll call vote as follows:

NAYS: None.
