RFSOLIITION N0. 3202
A RESOLIITION FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF LINDA CAIIDLE TO THE DEPARTMENT
OF COMMDNITY DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the position of Director of the Department of
Community Development is vacant following the resignation of Chris
Spears; and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined to leave the position vacant
for the time being; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to have an ongoing
program for Community Development; and,
WHEREAS, Chris Spears was actively involved in budget
formulation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED;
1. That the coordination and execution of policies
involving Community Development shall be carried over in the
absence of a director.
2. That these activities will be carried out by two
coordinating secretaries pursuant to direction by the Mayor and
Council.
3. That one of the coordinating secretaries, Kayma Duncan,
is currently a city employee.
/~. That Linda Caudle will be employed by the City as the
other coordinating full-time hourly employee with the annual wage
to be $18,000.00.
5. That the combined work of the two coordinating
secretaries will encompass the Community Development Department,
Public Works Department and Budget Department and other duties as
established.
6. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 16~ day of November,
1993, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldernyen Coay, Molleck, Phillips, Sarff, Meade, Bohler, May,
Chapman.
NAYS: None,
ABSENT:None.
