WHEREAS, the East Locust Street Improvement known as State Bond Issue
ExtensLon of Rt. 9 & 78, Section 1-C. S. , has been completed by Jansen &
Schaefer, Contractors , and
WHEREAS, the above section has been duly accepted by the Illinois
Division of Highways , and
WHEREAS, there is due the contractor , Jansen & Sahaefer , Pekin, Ill. ,
the sum of $16,326.32, for c ,nstructing the above improvement .
THEREFORE , BE TT R.L7ASOLVED, That the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois , does hereby authorize the City Clerk to pay to J-nsen & Schaefer,
the sum of $16,326. 32 out of the funds allotted to the City of Canton by
the 1933 M. F. T. law; paying at once the funds now available and the re-
maining payments to be made as the funds are received by the City of
Cantin from the State of Illinois , until the above sum of 1116,326.32 has
been paid.
Passed in the City Council this 7th day of ovember , 1934.

WHEREAS, the above section has been duly accepted by the Illinois Division of Highways,
and
WHEREAS, there is due the contractor, Jansen & Schaefer, Pekin, Illinois, the sum of
$16,326.32, for constructing the above improvement
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, does
hereby authorize the City Clerk to pay to Jansen &Schaefer, the sum of $16,326.32 out of
the funds allotted to the City of Canton by the 1933 M.F.T. law; paying at once the funds
now available and the remaining payments to be made as the funds are received by the City
of Canton from the State of Illinois, until the above sum of $16,326.32 has been paid.
Passed in the City Council this 7th day of November, 1934.
