RESOLUTION NO. 150
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois, has heretofore approved certain Specifications tot the
oiling of certain arterial streets in the said City.
Section 2. That competitive sealed bids shall be received
by the City Council for the work proposed to be done as shown by said
Specifications and said sealed bids shall be submitted to the City
Council on or before five (5) o'clock in the afternoon of May I, 1949,
to be opened at the regular meeting of said City Council on said day.
Section 3. That the City Clerk of said City be and she is
hereby authorised and directed to advertise for bids in accordance with
the Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of
Canton, Illinois, in such cases made and provided.
Passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this
6th day of April A. D. 1949.

third (3rd) di, of May A. D. 1949. Said bids will be publicly opened
and read at a regular meeting of the City Council held an the 3rd day of

Canton, Illinois,
All proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed
to the City Clerk, Canton, Illinois, marked *Sid for Oillisbm.
A certified aback, cash or bank draft payable to the City Treas4reri,
Canton, Illinois, in the amount of 1$of the total bid price, as a proposed
uayant**, shall aocempany each bid.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory
perforate.* bond in an amount equal to his bid with sureties to be approved
by the City Council.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids
and waive mit toshnieetities and irregulerites in bids.
