HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1633M' ORDINANCE NO. 1633 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR JANA TAYLOR AT THE ADDRESS OF 704 SOUTIEI THIRD AVENUE, CANTON, ILLINOIS, FOR A DOG GROOMING SHOP. WHERES, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits at 704 South Third Avenue, and; WHEREAS', a petition for a Home Occupation Permit was filed by petitioner and noticed thereof was published within said City and County, all in accordance-with the Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Canton, and; WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning such petition was held before the Panning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois on September 13, 1999 pursuant to notice, and; WHERF.fLS, no objectors-appeazed at said hearing and said Commission did thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council that said Home Occupation Permit be issued for the operation of a Dog Grooming Shap by Jana Taylor at 704 South Third Avenue, Canton, Illinois. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact. 2. That a Home Occupation Permit for the operation of a Dog Grooming Shop issued to, and the same hereby is issued to Jana Taylor at 704 South Third Avenue, Canton, Illinois affecting real property described as follows, to-wit: Lot 392 Wrights Addition, City of Canton, County of Fulton, State. of Illinois. 3. That this. Home .Occupation is personal to Jana Taylor at the above stated address only for a term of two yeazs from the date hereof; any cessation of such use shall automatically terminate. said Home Occupation. Permit;:. such. Home Occupation Permit is not transferrable or valid at any other address or affecting any other property. 4. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate documents, maps, and .related regulations be, and the same hereby aze, amended to reflect the foregoing Home Occupation Permit. r ' ~~ 5.
