NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS, that the area described in Exhibit A (Legal Description) and Exhibit B (Boundary Map) attached to and made a part hereof is hereby designated as the City of Canton 1 - Downtown/5th Ave Tax Increment Financing District Redevelopment Project Area as amended("Canton 1-Downtown/5th Ave TIF District') pursuant to Section 11-74.44(65 ILCS 5/11-74.44) of the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act. All ordinances and parrs of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
