2 �y Canton, Illinois March 5, 1957. A regular meeting of the City Co$ncil held this day convening at the hour of 7:OOP.M with Mayor Woods presiding. Roll call showed the following present: Alderman kmmm, Sebree , Swick, Miller, Skinner, Tink, Turner, Staley, Cook and Hill. Absent: Alderman Lundry, Smith, Skinner, Coleman. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. The following officer's monthly reports were submitted: City Engineer, Plumbing Inspector, Street Supt.; Bldg. Comm; Sewage Treatment Plant; Water Treatment Plant; Water & Sewer Dept; Om motion of Alderman Lundry, seconded by Alderman Swick, all reports were accented and ordered placed on file. NAY: None. i Alderman Sebree moves, seconded by Alderman Cook, an Ordinance be drafted fixing the fee for Judges and Clerks of the Election at $15.00, and the motion carried by a viva voce vote. It was moved by Alderman Miller, seconded by Alderman Swick, the boxes containing religious articles in Jones Park be removed, and the motion carried by a viva voce vote.
