A regular meeting of theCi_ty Council field this day eonveninr! at the hour of
7:30 r. M. with Mayor Woods presiding. Roll call showed the following present:
Alderman Duncan, Sebree, Lunciry, Swick, Smith, Miller, Skinner, Tink., 'Turner,
Staley, Cook, Jennings ,jnd. dill. bsent : Al er , n Coleman.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and stood an.)roved as read.
An "Ordinance Levying `faxes for the year 1955-1956" was read the second t 'me.
It was moved by Alderman Smith, seconded by ;:lcier•man Lun,lry, to place the 'rdinance

Ordinance "No parking on West Side of S. 5th Pve. from Locust to Linn St." was
read the second time. It was moved b� Alderman ,taley, seconded by Alderman Smith,
to place the Vrdinance on it;- p,3ssage. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Duncan,
Swick, Smith, Miller, 'Turner, St:�ley, Jennings and hill, 10' :: Alderman Sebree,
Lun ry, Skinner, Tink and Cook. AYE:-8, NAY-5. The chair declared the motion
carried and Ordinance pas°led, being Ordinance No. 213.

It was moved by Alderman �ennincsl seconded by Alderman Staley to suspend the rules

Ordinance "Placing Yield-Ri ;ht-of-Way Signs at 2nd. jive. and Birch St., and
placing sto�') signs at 6th and Oak St." was read the first time.
Resolution authorizing the 1.1ayor and Clerk to execute a '::edication granting
.94 acres at the waterworks as a public hi ,hway, to the Couhty of Fulton, was on
motion of Alderman Staley, seconded by Alderman Duncan, adopted by the following vote: r
AYE: Alderman Duncan, Sebree, Lundry, Swick, Smith, Miler, Skinner, fink, `Varner,
Staley, Cook, Jennings an ; Hill. NA" : none. The chair declared the motion c arried
and resolution ado•-ted.
It was moved by Alderman. Staley, seconded by Alderman Duncan, an Ordinance be
drafted, establishing a fee of �' 12.00 per hydrant per year, for all hydrants outside
and the motion carried by a viva voce vote.
On motion of Alderman Lundry, s ec,mded by rc,lderrnan 1nincan, the meeting adjourned.
