Nov. 3, 1954.
A regular meeting of the City Council held this day convening at the hour of
7:00 r'. M. With "ayor Woods presiding. Roll call showed the following present:
Alderman Sebree, Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Miller, Smith, Linder, Skinner, Tink,
Coleman, Cook, Staley and Klobuchar. Absent: none.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and stood approved as read.

It was moved by Alderman "bore, seconded by "lderman Skinner, that all claims
properly 0. K'd be allowed and paid when funds are available, and the motion carried.
The following officer's monthly reports were read and ordered placed on file:

Ordinance "Stop-signs at West Walnut & S. Ave. D" was read the second time.
It was moved by Alderman Miller, seconded by Alderman Smith, to place the "rdinance
on its passage. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Miller,
Smith, Linder, Skinner, Tink, Coleman, Cook, Staley and A oNchar.

Ordinance "Yield-Right-of-Way signs at W. Chestnut and Ave. D" was read the
second time. It was moved by Alderman Miller, seconded by Alderman Lundry, to amend
Section one of this Ordinance to read "Stop-signs to be placed at W/ Chestnut and Ave.
D". Roll call vote: AYE; Alderman Sebree, Duncan, w1oore, Lundry, Miller, Smith,
Linder, Skinner, Tink, Coleman, Cook, Staley, KlobuchUr amd. Nay: None. It was
moved by Moore, seconded by Alderman Duncan, to place the Ordinance as amended on its
passage. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Sebree, Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Miller,
Smith, Linder, Skinner, T ink, Coleman, Cook, Staley and nlobuchar. NAY: NONE. The
chair declared the motion carried and Ordinance passed being Ordinance N 0.221.
Ordinance "Stop-SSign at Sixth and Pine St." was read the second time. It was
moved by Alderman Cook, seconded by "lderman Otaley to place the Ordinance on its
passage. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman Duncan, Moore, 'Jundry, "tiller, S+�ith,
Linder, Skinner, Tink, Coleman, Cook, Staley and Klobuchar. NAY: None. The chair
declared the motion carried and Ordinance passed, being Ordinance No. 222.
Ordinance "No parking on N. side of west Ash west of Main St." was read the
second time. It was moved by Alderman 'oore, seconded by Alderman Lundry to place

the ')rdinance on its passage. Roll call vote: AYI?: Alderman Sebree, Duncan, Moore,
Lundry, Miller, Smith, Linder, Skinner, Tink, Coleman, Cook, Staley and Klobucher.
NAY-none. The chair declared the motion carred and Ordinance passed being ordinance
No. 223.
Ordinance "No parking on P-. Locust from Third to Fifth Ave." was read for the
first time.
It was moved by Alderman Cook, seconded by Alderman Staley, the Council take
action arainst violators of the Junk yard Ordinance. Roll call vote: AYE: Alderman
Duncan, Moore, Lundry, Miller, Smith, Linder, Skinner, Tink, Coleman, Cook, Staley,
and 11lobuchar. NAv: Alderman Sebree.

It was moved by Alderman 1400re, seconded by Alderman Coleman to refer to the
Ordinance committee to investigate and work out some solution to the gas truck situa-
tion.
Alderman "iller moves, seconded by Alderman Sebree, an Ordinance be drafted

placing stop-signs at the intersection of alleys running between Chestnut and
Elm st. and 1st Avenue and 2nd avenue, stopping the North and south traffic, and
the motion carried by a viva voce vote.
On motion of Alderman kloore, seconded by Alderman Cook, the me ting adjourne .
