It was moved by Alderman i400re, seconded by illderman Sebree, the Mayor write the Leary Construction Co., and inform them the council expected them to fulfill their contract on the repair job on the water tznayt tank, and the motion carried by unanimous roll call vote. -lderman Staled moves, seconded by -lderman Cook, an Ordinance be ,)repared to zxrk regulate 1runken driv&ng. Roll call vote was unanimous. Proposal submitted by the -11i.nois Bell Telephone Co. for purchase and maintenance of the Folice and Tire Le pt. radio system, was on motion of Alderman "'core, seconded by Alderman Landry, referred to the Police & Legal committee and °layor to check into and report back at the next meeting. It was moved by Alderman "'iller, seconded by Alderman globuchar, an `ordinance be prepared eliminating parking on 5th Hv enue from Locust to Linn St. on the west side of the street; eliminate parking on the north side of Locust Street From Ave. A to 3rd Avenue; on Locust Street from 3rd to 5th Avernze, no parking be allowed on e-they side of street.
