June 17, 1952
A regular meeting of the City Council held this day convening
at the }.our of 7 :30P.I.. with jiayor 'Woods -;residing. Roll call showed
the following present: Alderman aebree, -Elackaby, !:oor,- , Jones,
Skinner, Linder, band , `fink, Cook, at. Clair and Klobuchar. Absent:
Alderman Terpening.
read.linutes of the previous meeting were read and stood approved as
communication from the -Jept. of Public liealth, gavel their
approval of plans submitted for the proposed impmovements to the
waterworks. On motion of Alderman St. Clair, sec. by Alderman
Jones, the communication was accepted and ordered placed on file.
Aequest of the -Eagles Lodge to hold their Derby on Wheels
on Dean Ct . on Aug. 3, or raindate of Aug. 10, was on motion of
Alderman Blackabv, seconded by Alderman nlobuchar
�... � , granted.
On motion of Alderman 6ebree, seconded by Alderman nlobuchar,
the clerk was authorized to advertise for sealed bids on a car for
the police d epai' anent, bids to be received and opened on July 1st.
Alderman Uook, moves, seconded by Alderman �'lobucha_rq the
water and sewer committee be instructed to move the hydrant in the
driveway on 9th and yalnut, to one side of the driveway. Roll call
vote : AYE: Alderman Jebree, Bla.ckaby_, Moore, Jones, .skinner, Linder,
Tink, Cook, St. Clair and nlobuchar. NAY: Alderman 'nand.

It was moved by Alderman Jones, seconded by Alderman Ioore,
t1le bi&jdings and grounds committee purchase a flag for the city
building and the motion carried by a .viva voce vote.
It was roved by Ald erman hlobuchar seconded by Ei ld e rman
Linder, the brick sidewalk that is still remaining at the city
building be reomved, and replaced with concrete, with the firemen
doing the work and concrete to b e furnished by city, and the motion
carried by a viva voce vote.
On motion of Alderman Ijook, seconded by Alderman akinner, the
ordinance committee were instructed to have prepared an ordinance
regulating load limits on certain streets.
On motion of Alderman nlobuchar, seconded by Alderman St. glair
the absent Alderman Terpening was marked present.

On motion of Alderman at. Clair, seconded by Alderman Klobuchar,
the meeting adjourned.
