MAYOR'S REPORT. Mayor Crouch has been working on trying to get the
City reimbursed for the federal disaster relief. An inspector will
be here on January 7th for the final inspection. And they stated that
a contract will be let for the final audit during the month of January.
Upon completion of that audit, a copy of that audit and a letter will go
to Tom Railsback, who will follow it through for us. Mayor Crouch
believes that this money will be received before the end of this fiscal
year. And we will do everything we can to see that this is accomplished.
Mayor Crouch has taken the budget and analysis the revenues , and based
upon the expenditures that we've had and the projected expenditures in
the next four months, we will end the fiscal year at a break even point.
This will be without the federal disaster relief monies that is expected.
A gift of ten acres of land from R. W. Freider, which is located three
